My Latest News.....

My site is often being updated so please visit on a regular basis to see what's going on in the world of breastfeeding!!
Again, it has been a long time since I update on here, I should not have made that promise to you to regulary update it! My little one is not so little now, almost 2 and still breastfeeding very happily :-) no plans to stop any time soon.
Although breastfeeding awareness week has been cancelled by the government, I;ve still organised a breastfeeding picnic in the parj at my local Childre & Family Centre in St.Jmaes Road, Chichester on Saturday 25th June from 11:30am til about 2pm so if you live locally or fancy an outing then come and join in, bring your own picnic and relax, everybody welcome :-)
There have been varous studies in the press in recent months about breastfeeding, the best place ti find all the up to date research with all the facts and figures is the Unicef webstite, link below:

  1. oh Angie, you have interpreted it wrong. When I say it has been destoryed by the people consumed by greed, I am actually talking about the people who own the formula companies who are making lots & lots of money and are greedy for more, so they are therefore trying to make out that formula is better for your baby!

  2. I read your poem and I do not agree with the line about greed. I dont really understand how bottle feeding your baby is greedy and it certainly isn't your place to say it!

  11. Dear wendy, When your kids are fat and dumb, just remember that breastfeeding raises IQ by 8 points and can prevent adult obesity
Don't be so bitchy about something natural or do you think yours are sex objects and trust me after 4 kids your gonna be saggy. You have proven that you put yourself before your kids.Don't bring your personal issues into this website

  12. Some people have too much time on their hands, to write such a repulsive, lack of substance response. If she would have taken the time to read your wonderful well researched writing, It would have been very obvious that you have taken into account those that could not due to whatever circumstance breastfeed. It still remains that breasfeeding IS so much healthier for a baby, than any store bought formula. I suggest some people get a life, and take their negative attitude else where! I breastfed all 3 of my children, and would strongly encourage all future mothers to do the same. Thankyou Chloe for caring so much!!!!

  14. New law to be passed by the end of the year - breastfeeding will be allowed, without exception, in ALL public places-shows that the Govt take the health of our babies extremely seriously!

  15. Hi Chloe - sounds like we both have the same feelings about breastfeeding our babes, as do all of my mummy friends. It's great that you are giving mums who choose to breastfeed, encouragement. Can't wait for the pro-breastfeeding conference!
